So, my 'I'm on hiatus from teaching seminary so I have more time' resolution is going to be to blog more regularly. So, here goes. I'm on my first official weekend off (well, sort of. Seminary graduation is tonight) and it is nice to not have to do seminary lesson preparing related stuff. Don't get me wrong, I really really love my calling. I DO enjoy the down time though. I have a new respect for professional teachers and how they feel about the end of the year.
So, anyways.. 4 more days of school out here and I plan on enjoying them to the fullest and using my time super wisely to get all those little ticky tack things done that I put off during the seminary year.
Oh, and the SD card survived the trip thru the washer. Yahoo!! So, those will be coming up next.

Spring Break
So, we went camping for spring break. It was awesome. We rode our bikes on the VA Creeper Trail. Took lots of pictures. It was an incredible week. Then, I washed the camera. Yeahhh..... cameras don't survive that so well. Still need to see if the SD card survived the trip thru the washing machine. If it did, I'll let you know...

14!
My baby girl is 14!! I can hardly believe it. Amazing how things can be slow motion and lightening fast at the same time!
She had a boy girl party this year (gulp) and the kids all seemed to have a great time. Games, food, tim tams, fire, s'mores. A recipe for success!
It was about 28 degrees that night.. Crazy kids!

You're a Good Man...
The last 3 months of life have been spent trying to help Katelyn survive the school play. She was cast as Sally Brown in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.
Getting ready to go on. Feeling a tiny bit nervous!
The play was double cast. Katelyn was Sally 2 nights and another gal was Sally the other nights. On Katelyn's off nights, she was stage crew. The last show, she also got to be the bus driver..

Things have been such a blur, I had to look thru our pictures to remember what happened!
Crazy hair day. I think that is one of my favorite days! This year the kids went simple and we just did color. Not sure what is going on with Sierra's expression.. and do you just love my toilet?
Next? FALL!! Yes.. I realize that now it is spring. But remember how fun fall was?
Not sure what 'FIESTA!!" has to do with fall but I'm game for a fiesta anytime!
Then.... we got a ...... dog. Sigh. I conceded on this one. We'll see how long it lasts. That is what the kids wanted for Christmas and that is what they got. She was almost 5 mo. when we got her. The kids named her Tonks (after a character in the Harry Potter series) but I call her Bane.
