Forensics: Refers to competitive speech and debate and public speaking
Every year they have an annual forensics competition. The kids can pick from three different categories-serious poetry, something else about poetry, and impromptu. Katelyn chose impromptu and won for her team. (The grades are separated into teams) and then competed against the winners from each grade. She went up against several 7th and 8th graders and came in 3rd place. We were so excited for her. She is already looking forward to next year's competition.

I miss your kids! I must say, I am VERY impressed (though not too surprised) with Katelyn's achievement. That is so awesome. I am loving all the pictures of the family. Your halloween costumes are the best! Hope you have a great Thanksgiving :)
