I found this recipe for a clay on this awesome blog Dresses & Messes
She has fun ideas of things to do with kids. I made the clay today and the kids LOVE it. The texture is awesome (I worried a little because it has salt in it that it would be similar to the salt dough) and really fun to work with.
Moving on....
I made a million mental notes to take my camera and use it for our July 4th festivities and forgot!! I couldn't believe. So, close your eyes and imagine with me....
We went to some friends house and had a BBQ. The kids played and did bubbles and caught fireflies (that REALLY killed me that I didn't have my camera!) It was SO cute when Sierra caught her first one. She was very excited. Bary and I had made homemade ice cream and brought it with us. It was AMAZING and the recipe is a keeper. We left their house and returned back to ours for fireworks. There were several illegal ones going off around us and so the kids saw plenty. Sparklers galore and we called it a night. It really was a lot of fun.
Now, we're back into the swing of summer and I can't believe we're this far into July. I saw on my calendar it's about 8 weeks til school starts. CRAZY!!
Things have been busy here with swim lessons, play dates, pool days, and who knows what else. Can't believe my lil Sierra goes to Kindergarten in just 2 months!! How did that happen?

You should post some pics later of your homemade playdoh creations with the kids. Your 4th sounded like a blast. Brayden loves catching lighting bugs too. HOW FUN!!!
How about sharing the AMAZING ice cream recipe! It sounds like you are having lots of fun.
