Last night I made cookies and the kids kept asking for some cookie dough. Actually, they were asking if they could be the dough taster. I said to submit a resume and we'd consider it, but I didn't know if we were hiring. The kids all came up with resumes and had 'job' interviews with Bary. Afterwards, Bary went into the other room and called 4 times telling each child they had gotten the job. He really drew Katelyn's turn out and it was killing her. SO funny. Josh kept answering the phone a split second before she could and then pretended to be her. She was going nuts because she couldn't have dough til she was 'hired'. After accepting the position, they each came into the kitchen and got some dough. Here are their resumes. They came up with them on their own and when it was Josh's turn, Bary started adding in questions about how adventurous they are with foods.. will they eat veggies? What about spinach? A good cookie dough taster will eat spinach, etc.

Here are some pics of the interview process as well as them getting the good news.

On a side note, last week Marshall came in excited about seeing a snake. The other kids went out right away to see and then came running back yelling that there was indeed a snake. I went out and sure enough, it was there on the ground and promptly slithered up the pine tree. We were all laughing as it poked his head out from the top. He was about 4 feet long and maybe an inch in diameter at his widest point. Marsh especially was bummed to not be able to keep him, but when we tried to get him from the tree, he was gone faster than we could blink! Maybe next time...

This last one was right after we arrived at Great Wolf Lodge.. Can you see how excited the kids were?
