Taking a Time Out

I failed to mention (partly due to lack of pictures because I seem to remember my camera, but forget to use it) that I also traveled to Utah last month. It was so fun to catch up with roommates and friends and be able to attend a dear friends wedding. Congrats again Marlena and Steen and thanks for the pic. Hayley!

I had the opportunity to attend Time Out for Women last weekend. It was fantastic! I was a little leery of spending 2 days-AND my forfeiting one day of being able to sleep in to attend. I'm so glad I did. It was SO worth it! If you have an event coming to your area GO! The speakers were fantastic and funny and down to earth. I also was able to be on the Time Out staff and get to participate in some of the 'behind the scenes' stuff that goes on. Very cool. That included an airport run to pick up some of the presenters- an amazing experience.
You should really go.. did I say that yet? Seriously, GO!


Earlier this week we clogged our circle up with construction vehicles and what not. It was very exciting. We decided awhile back to have our driveway extended and widened a bit. We are putting in a basketball court and adding some parking space. It was pretty cool to see how fast the side yard went from grassy to blacktop. They were fast!
