And the Winner is.....

Katelyn participated in the school forensics (public speaking) competition a few weeks ago. She won from her class and went onto the school wide competition (6th-8th grade). She came in second place and went on to the county competition. I was on pins and needles that day as I was unable to attend and had to wait until she got home to see how she did. She came in bursting and on cloud 9. She came in first place in her category-Impromptu. Yay Katelyn! She said the panel asked a question and she had 60 seconds to prepare and then 3 min. to answer. Her question was: How would you modify a snail to be faster. That's a toughie! Congrats Katelyn!
