Today Sierra and I were grossery shopping (yes, that's right, gross-ery shopping) It's amazing to me what I can find on the shelves out here. One thing was a bologna like product called Souse. It contains several parts of the pig that I've never heard of being consumed. Granted, I guess I was pretty sheltered growing up in CA. Things like pig hoof, snout, ears, and all pickled and processed for your sandwich enjoyment. The other thing I saw today was Peppered Jowls. Sounds tempting right? I'm not quite brave enough to jump into the southern foods, but if I ever get there... I'll let you know.
On the way home from said stores, Sierra said. "Mom, when I grow up, I want to be a queen or a window washer. A window washer would be more helpful. I could come and clean windows if they were dirty....."
As we pulled into the driveway she clarified that she really wants to be a fly swatter. So, if flies were in peoples houses, they could call her and she could come and kill the flies.
Kinda makes one proud.......

Gross food! I LOVED the Queen or window washer comment! That's so classic. Everything is equal and Anything is possible when you are a kid!
