Summer

I can't believe how fast the summer vacation is approaching! Seminary is over for the year and we have only one week of school left. Any suggestions for fun summertime activities? I'm usually more on the ball than this for planning things but have slacked I guess. We're doing swim lessons, tennis lessons, free summer movies (do you have Regal theaters? or AMC) and I'm sure we'll spend a considerable amount of time swimming. Any other ideas?
Bary and I rode yesterday in the MS-150 bike ride. It was a fantastic day and we had a lot of fun. We brought our camera but only managed to get this one shot off. This was at the first rest stop about 12 miles in.

Bary thought it was funny I was standing in what looked like the men's line for the porta-pot. (they were unisex, I promise! see the gal 2 in front of me? And the one heading into the center porta?)
It was a perfect day for riding and we're looking forward to other rides. Cool side note-not sure if you've heard about Team Bruce but this gentleman has MS and rides in the ride every year. We passed them and were passed by them and it was inspiring to see a group pull together like that. His bike is pulled by another person as well as 4 handles that other bikers push or pull depending the road. It was incredible to watch. He was in a different rig this year than is pictured but we saw many of the same people pulling this year as are in the photo from last year.

Woo hoo! Way to go! What did you do with your kids while you were away? I am glad the weather was good for you. It would have been crummy to ride in the torrential rain you had last week!
